Social Mobility Factory is primarily aimed at current university students, but we'd love to welcome recent graduates and professionals too.

If you've already graduated, you can register to attend as a delegate; professionals can join by becoming a 93% Professional member.

As a small charity we can't guarantee reimbursement for everyone, but we run a Travel & Accommodation Support Fund for students who need it.

• Standard support (up to £50): available to any confirmed student delegate who requests it — just complete the travel reimbursement form, no extra criteria.

• Extended support (up to £100): for delegates whose advance return ticket exceeds £50 even with a railcard, and who also either travel more than 2.5 hours from London by train, or receive a means-tested bursary or the highest-band maintenance loan.

A few things to know: book your travel as early as possible (ideally by 1 September 2026) to get the best price; use a railcard where you can; travel by train on an advance return (or two advance singles if cheaper); we cover TfL travel to/from the venue up to £5.80; we can't cover car, fuel, or international flights, and only the base fare for a domestic flight where it's genuinely cheaper than the train. Reimbursement is only processed for delegates who attend on the day, and is paid within 14 days of the event.

If your journey home is more than 3 hours and there's no direct train leaving London after 10:00pm, you may be eligible for up to £75 towards accommodation (the event finishes at 9pm, and you're welcome to leave earlier to make your connection).

You must email info@93percent.club before booking anything, with your home destination and proof of your last direct train time — we'll confirm your eligibility and give you a reference number to use on the accommodation form.

We can't reimburse accommodation booked without this prior approval; a budget hotel such as a Travelodge or Premier Inn works well.

You'll get a lunch voucher for a free meal on the day, and canapés are served in the evening. Please share any dietary requirements when you complete your delegate application. Bring a water bottle with you — refill stations are available throughout the venue — and you can pick up extra snacks and drinks at the State School Tuck Shop.

Everyone attending needs their own individual ticket. If a friend at university wants to come, point them to the delegate sign-up. If you need a carer with you, or in exceptional circumstances need a family member to attend, email info@93percent.club to arrange it.

Wear whatever makes you feel smart and comfortable. You'll be meeting lots of employers on the day — including people who could be a future employer — so dress for the occasion.

You'll also have the option of a free professional LinkedIn headshot on the day.

No, it's in-person only. Keep an eye on Slack and your emails for other ways to get involved if you can't make it.

We will be operating a free of charge cloakroom on the day where we recommend storing large bags and jackets. Any lost property should be taken to the cloakroom, so should you lose anything please check here first. If you lose something or leave something at the venue, please contact us at info@93percent.club and we'll do our best to return it to you if found.

There will be some plug points around the venue, but we’d encourage delegates to arrive with a fully charged phone and bring a power bank if needed.

For delegates that need a quiet moment away from everything, we’ll have a quiet space available for you to use.

Yes, our Prayer Room is open all day.

Yes, the cloakroom is open all day.

Yes – our free Professional Headshot Studio will be open throughout the day from 12:00–18:00.

Unfortunately we do not have any designated work spaces to use on the day, and our quiet room is reserved for delegates who need to take a break and step away from the buzz of the activities.

There is an outdoor courtyard and communal seating in open places throughout the building, however these are not confidential and could be noisy.
